A dead appliance is one of the most awkward things to get rid of. A fridge or washing machine is heavy, it does not fit in the car, and it cannot simply go out with the rubbish — fridges and freezers in particular contain gases that must be treated properly. We disconnect it, wheel it out from wherever it is, carry it down from any floor, and take it to registered WEEE recycling where it is dismantled and processed correctly.

We remove fridges and freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cookers and hobs, extractor hoods, microwaves, televisions and screens, and small electricals. New appliance being delivered? We can take the old one away so you are not left with it in the hallway. All of it is electronic waste (WEEE) and none of it goes to landfill.
Disconnected and carried out
We handle the disconnection of plumbed-in washing machines and dishwashers and unplug the rest, then carry each unit out by hand — down the stairs of a no-lift flat, up from a cellar, out of a tight kitchen — protecting floors and doorways as we go. It is the same lifting we bring to furniture removal and a full house clearance.

How do you dispose of a fridge or freezer?
Through registered WEEE recycling. Fridges and freezers contain gases that must be treated correctly, so they are never landfilled — they are dismantled and processed properly.
Will you disconnect a plumbed-in washing machine?
Yes, we disconnect washing machines and dishwashers before carrying them out. Just make sure we can reach the valve and plug.
Can you take just one appliance?
Yes — a single appliance from a low fixed fee, collected from any floor, on its own or added to a larger clearance.
