Old furniture is the classic Brussels problem: too big for the bin, too heavy for the car, and stuck at the top of a staircase that was never built for it. A sofa that has to come out before the new one arrives, a wardrobe from a flat you are leaving, a mattress you cannot face carrying down four floors. We take single pieces or a room full, from wherever they stand, and make sure the good ones get a second life instead of going to waste.
Down from any floor, no lift needed
Most of the city is walk-up, so carrying heavy, awkward furniture down narrow, turning staircases is the everyday skill. We dismantle beds and wardrobes on the landing where it helps, strap and blanket what has to stay whole, and protect banisters, walls and doorways on the way down. Where a piece genuinely will not fit the stairwell, we say so before the day and plan around it. It is the same care we bring to a full house clearance.
Mattresses, sofas, wardrobes and more
We remove sofas and armchairs, beds and mattresses, wardrobes and cabinets, tables and chairs, desks and bookcases, and garden furniture. Mattresses are bagged for hygiene and taken to dedicated mattress recycling. Usable sofas and wardrobes are offered to second-hand and social circuits; the rest is broken down so the wood, metal and foam go to the right recycling streams rather than to landfill.
Fixed prices from €75
A single bulky item starts from €75, with the price set by the piece, the floor and the access once you send a photo. Several items or a whole flat's furniture are priced by the volume — a small clear-out runs €250 to €600 — see the pricing page. Every price includes the crew, the lifting and correct disposal, so there is nothing to add for the stairs.

Do you take a single sofa or mattress?
Yes — single-item collection is our most common furniture job, from €75, priced by photo and collected from any floor.
What if the wardrobe won't fit down the stairs?
We dismantle it where possible. If a piece truly cannot come down intact or in parts, we tell you before the day and agree the best approach, so there are no surprises.
Where does the old furniture end up?
Usable pieces are offered to second-hand shops and social enterprises. What cannot be reused is broken down so the wood, metal and foam are recycled properly.
